I am not sure what's going on. I know that I should not be weighing myself everyday but I am. I am sure a majority of you do it too! so these are my numbers:
- sat: 201.4
- sun: 202.3
- Mon: 201.4
- Tues:202.3
- Wed: 203.6
So what is going on. I am trying not to freak about it of course I didn’t workout today. My little man had his first cavity filled today and that took up most of the afternoon. then after dinner we had a very over priced contractor come and quote us on adding a sunroom off the back of the house. He was crazy he wanted 80K for 400 square feet.
So what do you think, do you overly weigh yourself? how does it effect your day and actions?

I weigh myself every morning when I wake up and then every morning after I have worked out (bc a lot of the time that makes it lower). Every day. I know its supposedly not good, but I like to just be aware. When its down I'm happy, but when its a little up, I just make sure to eat well and keep working out so it goes back down.
The trainer in me says :Don't sweat it. Our weight fluctuates throughout the week- depending on the time of month, if you had a bit too much sodium, if you didn't drink enough water, even your digestive status. Really. My weight has had an 8 pound over the course of a week. I would try weighing in once a week, same day, same time (morning, after you've had a glass of water). Remember to drink plenty of water, at least 50 oz- more if you're especially active. Soda-even diet-, sugary drinks, etc- all have an impact.
The human/female/needing to lose the last few pounds says : It's annoying. Incredibly frustrating. I need to listen to my own advice and weigh in once a week. Because sometimes I'm on the scale twice a day. It honestly has an impact on my day, and I'm not proud of that. So I decided I may start blogging on Sundays as my day to weigh in and report my *plan* for the week. So there you have it!
I weigh everyday. I used to let it effect me, now I don't. If I know I've done everything "right", I know it's okay. Try not to get down about it, there's so many factors at play.
I hate getting on the scale daily, watching my weight yo-yo up and down just really puts me in a sour mood. I normally try to only jump on the scale on Mondays when I weigh in, but find I jump on the scale sometime around Friday as well to check my weeks progress.
There are just so many things that factor into what the scale says (what you ate/drank, water retention, last time you used the rest room) that sometimes you just can't look at the numbers and conclude that you are gaining.
Just keep with your routine and you will see 201 again soon (and hopefully lower!).
There are so many factors that can make your weight fluctuate from day to day. I dont take much from my day to day scale readings because they can range 3-5 lbs. Just keep up with the healthy eating and exercise and the weight will come off! Hang in there.
