food, food, too much food

I finally started writing down my food…yeah I know, how many weeks later. So guess what I figured out by 1pm today.

I AM EATING TOO MUCH.

I was at 1,076 by 1pm…and that was with me eating cautiously.  So I am revamping my food for the rest of the week.  I need to keep going with properly tracking my food.

Sorry for the short post but its 10pm and General hospital is on.  I did just watch the end of dancing with the stars and loved the following line from Kristie Alley:

“if someone told me to haul ass I would  need to take two trips.”

LOL Love it.

My favorite line of this post is "Sorry for the short post but its 10pm and General hospital is on". I have a good friend who has been hooked on General Hospital FOR YEARS! So that was the first thing I thought of.

Keep tracking! It so works even though sometimes I completely resent it.

Isn't it crazy how much you can eat without knowing it? If I didn't write down everything, I would definitely end up eating way more. Lately if I eat pretzels or things like that, I count them out and all that.

By the way, I LOVED that comment from Kirstie too, hilarious!!

Tracking is so good! It is amazing how we can underestimate!

Haha I Loved that comment from Kristie. It really made me laugh, she was joking about her work ethic but I can see that totally being an underhanded insult about weight too.

I did a photo food log once to try and figure out what my daily food intake was. It really helped me figure out when to eat and what things I eat absently mindedly that I can cut out.

Basically just take a picture of everything you put in your mouth (with your hand or a quarter so you can see the size). Here is an example http://ellieunzipped.blogspot.com/2011/01/photo-food-log-experiment.html

Maybe it could help you out.

Hi Kristen,

found you through a bunch of blog surfing! Keeping track of food is incredibly annoying, even with the sparkpeople tracker I have used for the past two years. I'm still learning how to eat without tracking, it's tricky...best of luck to you, I'll be following!
